YYC | The Extraordinaires

The Extraordinaires began their philanthropic quest in 2011, raising much needed funds annually for Gordie Howe C.A.R.E.S. (Centre for Alzheimer’s Research and Education Society) in Calgary. In 2021, The Extraordinaires expanded their reach to include other local Calgary charities including Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids and the Calgary Food Bank and in 2022 a fourth charity was added, Parachutes for Pets.

To date The Extraordinaires have raised over $900,000 dollars for charity. Our goal is to exceed the $1 million dollar mark, and continue giving back to our local community.

"I have always had a desire to give back! Although, I recognized starting and leading The Extraordinaires would be a huge commitment, it seemed like it would still be a fun way to give back. Looking back over a decade later, I am so proud of what we have all achieved together for Gordie Howe C.A.R.E.S. a tremendously important cause! Thank You to all who have helped us along the way, we appreciate it!"
